Providing Turnkey Radiological Services since 1983.
Tidewater’s Radiological Services Division provides radiological site survey and modeling, radiological remediation and operations, radiological training, licensing and audit support, in-situ measurements, and radiation safety services throughout the world. In combination with Tidewater’s Environmental, Construction, and Industrial Hygiene Divisions Tidewater provides clients with a single source for turnkey remediation of radiological sites. The major clients include colleges and universities, the Department of Energy, US Army Corps of Engineers, US Air Force, and Nuclear Regulatory Commission license holders. Tidewater holds nationwide reciprocal radioactive materials licenses and maintains a complete inventory of calibrated, field-ready health physics instruments including in-situ portable gamma spectroscopy systems, large area gas flow proportional counters, low‐energy gamma detectors, and a variety of hand‐held detection instruments for alpha, beta, gamma, and neutron detection. The licenses permit Tidewater to perform radiological characterizations, remediation, waste packing and preparation for shipment, scoping and final status surveys.
